Art Week
by Mary-LouOne day people came into our school. At first I didn’t know who they were. Then our teacher told us that we were going to have an art week.
Then the people talked and said that we are going to go for a walk the next day.
The next day they came in and we went for the walk around the Glen. Mary-Lou and Abbass and Glenn were the reporters. They had to take pictures and stick them onto the map.
On the walk we walked a very long time and then we had lunch. Everybody saw ducklings and their mother and father with the green head.
We started walking again and we found a small stream. Some people filled their bottles up with this pure water. Other people said that it is a broken pipe.
We started walking again and we saw a river with two bikes thrown in the water. People looked in that river very long time because they were upset.
Then we walked back to the school.
We liked the walk very much!

The Maps
by GlennThe next day we started to make the maps. First we got people to do the 3D map then we got people to do the 2D map. And the people that were not working on the map started to male papier mâché.
On the 3D map we started by making hills. The papier mâché was very cold and gooey. The people on the 2D map started by colouring the roads, rivers and fields. Then they started to cut out icons out of piece of paper and placed them where they should be on the map.
The people making the papier mâché had to rip up pieces of newspaper and put them in a bucket of water. Then Eilish got the piece of paper and put them into a blender. It started to go all gooey and grey.
The people on 3 map got the papier mâché and stuck it onto the map. Then we switched around.
Everyone thought it was very fun to make a map!
